The Pacific Zen Institute is a place where people can reliably go– regardless of their circumstances–and find companions and a practice.

There are lots of ways to support the work of the Santa Rosa Creek Zen Center and PZI. You can drop some money in our Donation and Dana (teacher fund) boxes whenever you visit the zendo or go on retreat. You can volunteer.

Our public meditation sessions on Sunday, Monday and Thursday are offered “by donation” which is our way of saying that we want  you to feel welcome to attend regardless of your ability to pay. Our suggested donation is on a sliding scale from $5 – $20. Give what you can, be generous when that’s possible. As a non-profit organization, we give away what we bring in. Your donations make it possible for us to do what we do. Thanks!

You can make a one-time donation to our general fund or to a specific fund (Scholarship, Teacher, Uncertainty Club, Community).

But the most sustainable way to support our innovative, helpful work is to become a PZI member. A recurring monthly donation gives you discounts on events and retreats, access to our lively email list-serv called PZI-Talk, and the possibility of personal work with a PZI teacher. Plus, you get the company of others on the way.
