Dear SRCZC Community Member,

We want to let you know about recent changes in the PZI and SRCZC community.

Rachel Boughton, Roshi is leaving as our Santa Rosa center director. She has been a tremendous contributor to Pacific Zen over the years. From the deepest position of gratitude, we wish to thank her, our long-time friend and dharma partner for all her contributions. We wish her well in the development of her new teaching community.

Here are the recent changes:

  • Rachel Boughton, Roshi has resigned her directorship of SRCZC, and will serve in that role until the end of this month, Dec. 31st.

  • Rachel has decided to establish her own center beginning in January, Flower Mountain Zen, which will be located in Bennett Valley (for a schedule

Leaders in January will include:

We envision an exciting and diverse program of leaders and teachers from our PZI Zen sangha, as well as friends in circles of storytelling, performance arts, and mind-body health.
